Its another week for the Gamescast, and Joe still hasnt watched the Olypmpics. Adam tries to explain that he missed 2 huge Gold Medal games this weeks, but Joe still isnt having it.
When the talk turns back to video games, Joe give some updated impressions on Evil Within 2, as well as his first thoughts on Sea of Thieves, after having finally tried the beta. Adam updates the status of his WWE character, and also give early impressions on Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 for the Switch.
The news this weeks starts with a discussion on the gaming industry being used as the scapegoat for recent tragedies, and whether or not there is a basis for it, or if this is an outdated argument.
The Lightning Round/Not Lightning Round features some upcoming remasters, a bunch of DLC announcements, March's Games with Gold, a new way to interact with Mega-Man, and some updates on 2 games related movie project.

In this news this week was rumors of Microsoft looking to make a big purchase to bolster their first party line up, so we break down what those potential acquisitions could mean for the future of games.

Welcome Everbody to our first officail Gamescast of 2018, and possibly our first ever Xbox heavy episode. With rumors swirling of some upcoming announcements from Microsoft, Adam and Joe look at the possibility of new first party games, that may be coming to the "Worlds most powerful console."
There wasn't much new that was played this week, but Joe gives his thoughts on going back and playing Diablo III for the first time in a while, as well as the first day of AGDQ. While Adam tried the new demo for Kirby Battle Royal, and shares his opinions on the new Jumanji, and Super Mario Cereal.

Happy New Year!!!! WE hope you had a safe and happy new year's celebration, and thanks for starting your new year with us. As is the case with most post holiday, the guys each played something new, including the new break dancing rhythm Floor Kids on Switch.
Adam and Joe are starting the new year by looking forward to the upcoming games set to release in the first few months of 2018.
They discuss their most anticipated titles, including Dragon Ball Fighterz, and God of War. As well as some big titles that have yet to leave a lasting impression.
