Another week and Adam and Joe sit down to cover the week in games news. In the What They're Playing segment, Joe is finally done with with Bloodbourne, and announced that he is finally done talking about it. He also give his thoughs on Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle, which is not the trainwreck we had assumed when it leaked. Adam was in a sports game mood all week, as he played Windjammers on PS4 and Vita, and the new Hot Shots, Everybody's Golf. The news features the newest Nintendo Nindies, the possibility of Switch VR, and the possible inclusion of non violent games in the Olympics. The episode concludes with another Lightning Round/Not Lightning Round, and features realease dates, game announcements, rumors, and another video games related lawsuit. Welcome to another Main Event, and this time, it's for the biggest party of the summer, WWE Summerslam 2017. With a completely full card, the whole team, minus a regrettably absent Joe, give their brief thoughts on NXT Takeover Brooklyn III, as well as taunt Adam over Baron Corbin's latest idotic episode, that cost him his Money in The Bank briefcase. The group then runs down the massive Summerslam card, which does include Joe's hot takes, which were provided the day before.

On the newest Gamescast Adam and Joe once again have to denounce a company for blackmailing Switch owners into buying their games, as EA decides to use Fifa 18 as the measuring stick for future Switch support. The podcast then takes a sharp turn, when the guys discuss the merits of Conan Exiles' "Anatomy Slider," meant to enhance a certain part of the male anatomy. The news wraps up with more struggles for content creators on Youtube, as videos are starting to get de-monetized. The Lightning Round/Not Lightning Round features the blow to first party exclusives that was dealt with the delay of Crackdown 3, as well as some Pokemon news, a lengthy discussion about Splatoon 2's question of Flight vs. Invisibiilty, and another crazy lawsuit involving a video game company. Its another episode of the Broken Clock Gamescast, and Adam and Joe are drinking raw eggs, and running up stairs to important monuments, because training has begun for the Nintendo World Championships! The guys discuss strategies, for getting their best times on the test track, and whether or not they stand a chance(spoiler- they dont.) Joe also gives his thoughts on the rumored shake-up of Xbox Achievements, and whether it would impact his love of the hunt. Another week also brings another lawsuit, with Nintendo on this hotseat over the design of the Switch. The Lightning Round/Not Lightning Round has a bunch of tidbits surrounding the new Metroid, a discussion about microtransactions in the new Middle Earth game, and the changes surrounding this year's Minecon. In this week's episode Adam and Joe are feeling betrayed, as they were two of the peopl who got their SNES classic pre-orders cancelled by Walmart. Given how difficuly it was to get an NES classic, not longer having the guarantee makes things a lot worse. Joe also finally played a game that wasnt souls based, as he got Hey Pikmin for the 3ds, while Adam continued to play Splatoon 2, and got trashed talked to in NHL 18. The news was slow this week, and features only negative items regarding Nintendo properties. The lightning round featured some leaks and rumors regarding a flagship AAA title, as well as some smaller news concerning Microsoft's next console release. The crew gives their reactions to the revelation that Jason Jordan is really Kurt Angle's son, as well as thoughts on the trimming down of Talking Smack. The group also gives their thoughts on the brand split, as we are just a few days past the one year anniversary of the draft. We then break down the match card, and see is going to come out on top, and walk away the Broken Clock Main Event Champion. To celebrate the podcast being old enough to drink.... In episode years, Tyler and Cari join Joe and Adam to discuss the week in gaming. Given that it has been a few weeks since we last talked to them, Tyler and Cari discuss their new Nintendo Switch! Joe keeps the group up to date on the newest addition to his "souls games" collection. The big game of the week however was the release of Splatoon 2. The group goes through the positive and negative aspects of the game, but we all agree it is nothing if not incredibly fun. Adam and Joe go indepth with Nintendo's new voice chat app, which leaves much to be desired.
